The KIDS TOO board is made up of parents, business and community leaders, and advocates who want to do everything in their power to protect children.

DAVID HAIGH

David Haigh co-founded Parents Against Child Sex Abuse in 2017 in response to a close-in predator impacting his family. As a Board Chairman, he represents the Dad perspective when it comes to their important role protecting children. Professionally, David is Executive Vice President at NAI Hiffman, the largest privately held commercial real estate firm in the Midwest. David is also a military veteran, having served in Iraq (2003-2004) as a soldier in the U.S. Army National Guard.

ANNETTE WELSH-KASTNER

Annette shares a passion for the mission as a parent of three boys and knowing first hand challenges parents face daily to ensure safety, education, and prevention surrounding sexual abuse topics. In her teen years she experienced similar issues related to inappropriate interactions and behaviors by some trusted adults which furthers her passion for our cause. Annette is currently a Principal and Executive Vice President of Kastner Accounting and Consulting Services, Inc., which provides Fractional CFO services, financial and operational consulting services to middle market clients. In her role with the firm, Annette is responsible for Business Development as well as supporting several clients as a fractional CFO. Prior to joining her family firm full-time in May of 2023, Annette spent four years as CFO of he largest privately held commercial real estate firm in Chicago, leading improvements in Corporate finance and reporting and acting as a member of the executive committee furthering corporate strategy and achieving of significant company growth. Annette is an alumnus of DePaul University with a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Accountancy. She is also a CPA (inactive). When not at work, Annette can be found enjoying time with her family and friends. She loves to travel, fish, watch her boys and husband golf, and cheer her sons at their MANY sporting events.

Alissa McCurly Vogel

Alissa McCurley Vogel is a philanthropist with 20 years of experience in legislative affairs and policy in Illinois and Capitol Hill. Past roles include serving as Communications Director to the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Buck McKeon, as well as Rep. Kevin Yoder. In Illinois, Alissa was the Deputy Chief of Staff & Spokesperson for US Senator Mark Kirk and more recently the Government Affairs Director of Empower Illinois- the state’s leading scholarship-granting organization focused on education policy advocacy and the implementation of the state’s tax credit scholarship program. She currently serves on the Oak Rose Fund’s executive board as President. Alissa’s acumen includes receiving a Bachelor's degree in English, Psychology and Political Science from the University of Kansas; Masters in Public and Strategic Communication from American University; and a JD from the DePaul University College of Law. Growing up in a small town in Southeast Kansas, Alissa is a die-hard Kansas Jayhawk fan and enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Rick.

THOMAS FINN

Tom Finn (CPA) is the Chief Financial Officer for Adar IT, a Chicago area-based tech company that provides cloud services. In the past, he has held leadership roles at multiple rapidly growing tech companies including Peapod and American Imaging Management. Tom’s area of expertise is scaling small to mid-sized tech organizations and holds an undergraduate in Business Studies, with a major in Accounting/Finance from the University of Limerick, Ireland along with an MBA from DePaul University. Tom is committed to service has held leadership roles for Oak Park Cub Scout Pack 39 and the AYSO Oak Park. He now serves at Oak Park River Forest HS business incubator. He is a long-time Oak Park, IL, resident and a proud Dad to three kids.
